đ How to Fix Facebook Permission Problems in UpHex
If your client canât see or use the right Facebook Page or Ad Account in UpHex, itâs almost always a permissions issue. The good news? Itâs easy to fix!
đ§Š Step 1: Reconnect the Facebook Account
First, disconnect and then reconnect the Facebook account in UpHex.
This could be the clientâs account or the agency ownerâs accountâwhoever has access.
Disconnect them by going to "My Dashboard" in UpHex, select your client's name, then click on "Integrations". Under the FB section, choose "Reset Connection".
đ Step 2: Log Back In
When you reconnect, Facebook will ask you to log in.
Log into the correct FB account and Click Continue when prompted.
âď¸ Step 3: Edit Previous Settings
Select âEdit Previous Settings.â
This lets you update the permissions so UpHex can see everything it needs to.
đ Step 4: Choose âOpt-In to All Current and Future Pagesâ
Youâll see a screen that says, âChoose the Pages you want Ads Launcher to access.â
Select the top option: Opt-in to all current and future pages.
â This keeps you out of âpermission prisonâ â a common issue that stops you from seeing the right Pages or Ad Accounts.
It also ensures UpHex automatically gets access to any new Pages you create or are added to later.
đ˘ Step 5: Choose âOpt-In to All Current and Future Businessesâ
Next, it will ask about Businesses.
Again, choose the top option: Opt-in to all current and future businesses.
đž Step 6: Review and Save
Youâll land on a Review Ads Launcher Access Request page.
Click Save.
Youâll see a message like: â[Name] has been connected to Ads Launcher.â
Click Got it to finish.
â Step 7: Youâre Done!
Your permissions are now updated and fixed.
Go back into UpHex and you should be able to select the correct Facebook Page and Ad Account without any issues.
