An Unexpected Error Occurred: How to Resolve the Error in UpHex

If you've launched a campaign in UpHex and received a failed error message with the text "An unexpected error has occurred. Please retry your request later," don't panic! This error is typically caused by a communication issue between the Facebook API and UpHex services.

Before proceeding, we recommend trying to relaunch the campaign once more. If the error persists, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Find the client that is giving you the error message.

  2. On the far right-hand side, click the minus sign to reset the Facebook connection.

  3. Have the client (or, if you have access to their Facebook account), log in to their account on GHL.

  4. Open the UpHex plugin tab and click the blue 'Connect' button.

  5. Once the connection is complete, relaunch the campaign.
