When you're ready to setup an account for yourself or for clients, here's how to onboard a new account.

NOTE: If you are using GHL, first you must create your UpHex custom menu link in GHL. This article will walk you through how to set that up!

Full Video Walkthrough:

⭐ Step By Step Guide

Start in GHL by going to your client's sub account, and then selecting your UpHex. (Don't have a custom menu link? No sweat! Setup instructions here)

After your client enter's their business name — they’ll go through a full, guided onboarding flow.

This new flow walks them step-by-step through connecting the right accounts and assets.

🔗 Step 1: Connect Facebook or Google

Clients will be asked to connect either:

● Facebook
and/or
● Google

🧠 Step 2: UpHex Pulls All Their Ad Account Assets

Once they log in with Facebook or Google, UpHex will automatically pull:

● All existing Facebook/Google Ad Accounts
● All existing Facebook Pages
● Any Business Managers they’re part of

This makes it easy for them to simply select the right assets and keep going.

🆕 Step 3: Create New Facebook Assets — Right Inside UpHex

If your client doesn’t have what they need, they can now create it directly inside UpHex:

✔ Create a brand-new Ad Account
✔ Create a brand-new Business Manager
✔ Create a brand-new Facebook Page

⚠ Note about Facebook Pages

Facebook does not allow page creation fully inside UpHex.

So we:

  1. Redirect the client to Facebook to finish creating the page

  2. Provide a step-by-step instructional video so they don’t get stuck

Once it’s created, they come right back into UpHex to finish onboarding.

🎯 Step 4: Select + Save Assets

After everything is connected or created, clients simply:

  1. Choose the Page

  2. Choose the Ad Account

  3. Click Save

From there, UpHex opens right into their HighLevel account, and they’re ready to go.
