What Is Rebilling?
Rebilling helps you earn a percentage of client ad spend run through your UpHex account. Use these best practices to keep accounts healthy and billing smooth.
Rebilling Best Practices:
Ad Account
Currently in UpHex, use one ad account only for rebilling
Use an ad account owned by your agency’s Business Manager
Choose an account with solid spend history (a few thousand is ideal)
If you’re ad account is new
Run one ad for the first 30 days to seed the account
Ensure all payments clear
Increase activity gradually
Facebook Page
Not Recommended: You can use your client’s FB page and your ad account to run ads using rebilling. BUT this can trigger flags/restrictions with FB
Recommended: use an agency-owned page in the same BM as your ad account
Create one shared page for all client’s ads
Pro Tip: If client’s insist on using their page: Explain to them that the rebilling page is for advertising only
Make the page relevant to your niche
Page setup
Make name/images/posts niche specific but leave off branding
Followers/page contact info not required
What matters most to FB: regular, relevant posts
If you have a new FB page:
Post daily for a week
Then post once a week
Rebilling FAQ’s
Rebilling Can be enabled per client
All of your client’s do not have to be on rebilling to use this feature
Each client can have personalized rebilling charges/percentages
Helpful for clients with banned/restricted accounts (they can rent your account)
DO NOT USE REBILLING IF: Your ads are for high‑risk niches (e.g., weight loss, vanity); use client accounts instead
