🧠 How to Use the AI Image Generator in UpHex

Want to create eye-catching images for your ads in minutes? The AI Image Generator inside Uppie AI makes it easy — no design skills required.

🚀 Getting Started

  1. Go to your UpHex dashboard.

  2. Click on Uppie AI in the left-hand menu.

  3. At the top, you’ll see three tools:

    • 🖼️ Image Generator – creates images

    • 🎬 Video Clip Generator – creates short videos

    • 📣 Template Generator – builds ad templates with matching visuals

For this guide, we’ll focus on the Image Generator.

🪄 Creating a New Image

  1. Click the Create Image button.

  2. In the prompt box, type a short description of what you want.

    • Example: “A smiling real estate agent in front of a new home.”

  3. (Optional) Click the plus (+) icon to upload an image.

    • You can upload a photo of yourself or another image you want to edit.

🧍‍♀️ Uploading and Editing Images

Here’s where things get really powerful:

✏️ Edit an Existing Image

  • Upload an image from the UpHex Ad Library (or anywhere else).

  • Example: “Use the same image but remove the old price and add $499.”

  • Again, select the Nano Banana model — it’s the best for editing or customizing images.

🪞 You Can Make AI Images of Yourself!

  • Upload your own photo.

  • Choose the Nano Banana model.

  • Enter your prompting & the tool will create realistic AI versions of you.

⚙️ Choosing Settings

You can adjust:

  • AI Model:

    • Nano Banana (most flexible and powerful)

    • ImageIn4, OpenAI, GPT, Influx (great for creative images)

  • Image Size:

    • Square, HD Square, Portrait, or Landscape

    • For Facebook ads, we recommend Square.

    • For Google ads, you need at least one landscape and one square

🖼️ Generating Your Image

When ready:

  1. Click Generate Image.

  2. Wait about a minute — your image will appear shortly.

  3. Each image uses one credit from your monthly allowance.

💰 Managing Credits

  • You get a set number of AI credits each month (based on your UpHex plan).

  • You can see your used and remaining credits at the top of the Uppie AI page.

  • Need more? Click Purchase next to your credit counter to buy extra.

  • Credits Renew at the beginning of each pay cycle.

🧩 After You Create an Image

Once your image is ready, you can click on it to see even more options.

🧠 Copy the Prompt

If you liked the result, click Copy Prompt to reuse it later.

You can paste the prompt into a new image and tweak a few words for a fresh version.

🪄 Edit the Image

Want to make changes? Choose Edit Image to use AI for touch-ups or adjustments to your existing image.

🧩 Add to an Ad Template

If you’ve already created an ad template, click Add to Template.

You’ll be able to include this image directly from the Image Generator section.

🗂️ Add to a Client’s Library

Every client in UpHex has their own personal image library.

You can add your new image there, so when launching an ad (either you or your client), you can easily select it from that client’s personal collection.

🔍 Analyze the Image with AI

Click Analyze Image to let AI review your image and provide insights.
This can help you see if your visuals are engaging, clear, or well-aligned with your ad goals.

🎥 Turn It Into a Video

Want to bring your image to life?

You can convert your image into a video directly from this screen.

⚠️ Note: Video generation uses more credits

🧩 BONUS: Generate Prompts from Ad Templates

At the bottom of the Image Generator tool, you’ll find two powerful features:

🧠 Template Option

Click the Template button to search through all your ad templates inside UpHex. This means your image will perfectly match the message and style of your ad — instantly.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Select the ad template you want to create an image for.

  2. Click Generate Prompt.

  3. The system will automatically analyze your ad copy and generate a prompt based on that content.

You can tweak the prompt if you’d like, then click Generate Image to bring it to life.

📘 Guidelines Option

Next to the Template option, you’ll also see Guidelines.

Clicking this opens a set of best practices and tips for:

  • Writing stronger prompts

  • Improving image quality

  • Staying up-to-date with AI image trends

It’s the easiest way to level up your creative process and keep your visuals performing at their best.
