How to Use EZ Connect to Access Client Accounts in UpHex

EZ Connect allows you to easily request and gain access to your clients' Facebook and Google ad accounts directly from your UpHex dashboard. This simplifies account management, allowing you to fix account issues, create pixels, and perform other tasks that require direct access.

Here's how it works:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations Tab: In your client's UpHex dashboard, click on the "Integrations" tab. You'll see a list of connected Facebook and Google accounts.

  2. Request Access: Next to each account, you'll find an arrow icon. Click this to request access.

    • For Google Ads: Clicking the arrow will send a request to Google. You'll receive an email notification from Google when access is granted. Simply click the link in the email to confirm. Access done!

    • For Facebook:

      • Page Access: Partner access to the Facebook Page is granted automatically.

      • Ad Account Access: Click the arrow and follow the provided instructions. You'll be guided to your agency's ad account within Facebook, where you can request access to the client's ad account.

  3. Copy the Account Number: There will be a prompt at the top of your screen, affirming your page access, and then a link to "Click here to request access to ad account". Select that, and instructions will pop up, including providing you with your client's ad account ID.

  4. Request Access and Define Your Role: Go to your Agency Business Manager and select "Ad Account". Then select the "Request To Share Ad Access", Enter in your client's ad account ID as provided to you in UpHex, and Select "Full Control" as your role.

  5. Client Approval: Facebook will send your client an email request. To ensure prompt approval, copy the provided deep link and send it directly to your client. They can then simply click the link and approve your request.

  6. Assign People within Your Business Manager: Once your client approves the request, their assets will be added to your Business Manager.

    • Important: Facebook requires you to assign people to these assets, even though they are already within your Business Manager.

    • Navigate to the client's page and ad account within your Business Manager.

    • Click "Assign People" and select the team members who need access.

    • Grant "Full Control" and click "Assign."

That's it! You now have full access to your client's accounts, allowing for seamless management and optimization.
