๐ Connecting UpHex to GoHighLevel
This guide will walk you through setting up a Custom Menu Link inside your GoHighLevel (GHL) Agency account so your clients can onboard into UpHex quickly and easily.
This creates a new menu link inside of your client's sub accounts, that allows them to connect their FB and Google accounts through GHL, as well as access your UpHex ad library that you've setup for them.
From here clients can connect their preferred ad accounts (giving you full access through UpHex), see your ad library of read to launch ads, launch ads for themselves, or simply see which ads are active if you're launching it for them.
โญ Step 1: Create a Custom Menu Link
Follow these steps inside your GoHighLevel Agency View:
Log in to GoHighLevel and switch to Agency View.
Go to Settings โ Custom Menu Links.
Click Create New.
๐ Step 2: Add Your UpHex URL
In your UpHex account, go to Settings โ White Label.
Copy the GHL Custom Menu Link URL.
Paste that URL into the Link URL field inside GoHighLevel.
Setup Your Link Icon, Link Title and Choose the top option for "When Clicked" to keep everything white labeled.
๐งฐ Step 3: Set Sidebar Preferences
Inside the Custom Menu Link settings:
Uncheck: Agency Sidebar
Check: Sub-account Sidebar
Select All sub-accounts, or Select Specific sub-accountsThis ensures the link appears only inside each clientโs sub-account.
Choose which users can see the link:
All users
Admins only
Other role types
Leave Permissions OFF (these aren't needed in UpHex).
โ Step 6: Save Your Custom Menu Link
Click Save, and your menu item will now appear inside selected GHL sub-accounts.
Your clients can now use this link to open the UpHex onboarding flow and connect their Facebook assets instantly.
